Martin Parr - Parr World

Perhaps one of the most exciting documentary photographers of the century! Martin Parr is a true beacon of inspiration and kooky creativity. Seeing him lecture in Leeds yesterday evening I'm left with a couple of really important lessons learnt!
Parr's creativity comes from who he is and what interests him. By avoiding 'the rules' he has created a unique style and unquestionably wonderful documentation of social class, fashion, style, behavior and the constant pursuit of something better or higher.
This photo from Melbourne in 2008 is just iconic!

This week's aims!

This week I will be launching a website (not for myself of course!)
